Sao Sebastiao Port Authority announced a temporary revision of the public berth draft restrictions

The Brazilian Sao Sebastiao Port Authority has announced/officialized a temporary revision on the draft restrictions of the Berth 101 (public berth) at Sao Sebastiao port, which will start to consider as 9.10m the maximum operational draft until the next maintenance and dredging events take place.

This will disregard the previous announcement in which had officialized the public berth with a maximum operational draft of 9.50m.

Following the Port Authority announcement the Sao Sebastiao Commercial Quay (Berth 101) has a new draft of 8.70m at any tide as long as the Pilotage carries out the approach for mooring to depart from the north of the pier. When undocking, the ship must move away, using the same route, in reverse.

The maneuvering at high tide is 9.10m, in conditions of tidal flooding, maintaining a clearance under the keel of at least 0.70m (seventy centimeters) and with pilotage following the same route mentioned above.
